Commit Conscious Acts of Kindness.

A study of over 2 000 people, has shown that acts of altruism (giving to friends and strangers alike) decrease stress and strongly contribute to enhanced mental health.  To try this yourself, commit to 5 acts of conscious kindness every Tuesday. If you truly want to reap the psychological benefit of this, be sure to do these things deliberately, don’t just look back over your day and declare your acts post hoc. These acts need not be grand gestures, just 5 simple acts of kindness every Tuesday.
